Novak Djokovic bust unveiled in Serbian Cultural Garden in Cleveland

 

Serbian Novak Djokovic is arguably the greatest tennis player in the world (21 Grand Slam events including the 2022 Wimbledon, etc.) He was unable to compete in the 2022 US Open because of US laws about people unvaccinated from Covid. 

On September 11, 2022 a bust of Novak Djokovic was unveiled in the Serbian Cultural Garden in Cleveland. Over 100 people attended including many clergy people from Texas, PA and even Belgrade, Serbia!

Multicultural Fashion Show Part 4: Palestine to Zambia

The Multicultural Fashion Show at the 7th annual Cleveland Multicultural Holiday Celebration put on by the International Community Council Worldwide Intercultural Network (ICC-WIN) in Cleveland at the Global Center for Health Innovation continued.

120 people participated in the fashion show and each walked the runway to music from their country.

The fourth group included fashions from Palestine, Puerto Rico, Russia, Senegal, Serbia, Tanzania and Zambia.

Paul Burik of Cultural Gardens on George Voinovich

Paul Burik, past-president of the Cleveland Cultural Gardens Federation, spoke about the passing of Senator George Voinovich.  He spoke about the Serbian and Slovenian Gardens and how the Eastern European community owed much to him.
