Proclamations for Alan Freed

The ashes of legendary disc jockey and creator of the term Rock and Roll Alan Freed were laid to rest in a ceremony at Lakeview Cemetery in Cleveland.  A ceremony was held and a monument was unveiled.

  Legendary disc jockey and rock historian Norm N. Nite recognized some of the people in the audience such as Supertramp founder Rick Davies.  He read proclamations from Governor John Kasich and Cleveland Mayor Frank Jackson.   http://www.clevelandpeople.com/

Judge Sara Harper proclamations and Rev. Jefferson tribute

Judge Sara Harper was honored in a ceremony by the Republican National Committee and others in the Outhwaite Community Center which is in the public housing where she (and Carl and Lou Stokes and others) grew up.

She received proclamations from Governor John Kasich and Attorney General Mike DeWine. Reverend Jefferson closed the program with his tribute and a prayer.
